Our Venue - The Tithe Barn at The Kingfisher
We're so excited to be celebrating our wedding at the beautiful Tithe Barn at The Kingfisher in Bedford.
Set alongside the River Great Ouse, the barn combines rustic charm with stunning riverside views, making it the perfect setting to celebrate with our favourite people. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was exactly where we wanted to say "I do."
Everything throughout the day will take place here, so once you've arrived, all that's left to do is relax, celebrate and enjoy yourselves!
The Kingfisher is much more than just a wedding venue. There are beautiful grounds, a riverside jetty and plenty of places to soak up the atmosphere.
Whether you fancy a stroll, catching up with family and friends or simply enjoying a drink in the sunshine (fingers crossed!), we hope you'll love the surroundings as much as we do.
Arriving early? The Kingfisher is open as normal before the wedding, so feel free to pop in for a drink, a bite to eat or to use the facilities before the celebrations begin.
Meet the Badger Boat 🚤
One of the things that made us fall in love with our venue was its beautiful riverside setting, so we thought it would be fun to make the most of it!
Subject to weather and availability, we'll be offering complimentary short trips aboard the Badger Boat during the drinks reception and, if there's enough interest, again during the evening.
Each trip lasts around 10 minutes, giving you the chance to enjoy the scenery and see the venue from a different perspective before returning to the celebrations.
There's no extra cost to join us, we've simply included a question on the RSVP so we can get an idea of how many guests might be interested. You're very welcome to stay on dry land if you'd prefer!
